At 8:28 I was the girl who had everything.

At 8:29 my whole world fell apart.

A split second can change your life. I learned this the hard way. I wasn't ready to let him go. Even when the terms "vegetative state" and "will never recover" were thrown around I held onto hope. I mean, miracles happen, right?

We deserved our happy ending.

Three years later and I'm still hoping. In my heart I know I have to let him go but how can I? He's the only man I've ever loved. He's my soul mate. My life.

Then I meet Max. He's everything Aiden isn't and as much as I'm trying to fight my feelings, I'm losing. I don't want to fight anymore.

I need to live my life.

I need to move on.

But in order to move forward I need to let go of the past.

ALPHA BOOK CLUB'S REVIEW

“My face heats because I can’t help but notice how hot he is.  As he struts over to me, he pushes his dirty blond hair from in front of his eyes.”

The book was heartbreaking from the start.  It was really good and I loved the characters.  The story was amazing, but again super heartbreaking as well.

Keira was the girl who had everything.  An amazing “soul mate” in Aiden and and wonderful life.  But that all changed when Aiden has a horrible accident and is never going to recover and in a “vegetative state”.  She was bound and determined to make sure he would come back to her.  Three years later and he’s still in the same state.  And although she doesn’t want to let him go, she knows she will have to eventually.  Then when she thinks things can’t get any worse, her car breaks down and a sexy mechanic Max helps her out.  Although she knows that she needs to let go of her past and move on, possible with Max, she’s fighting so many feelings of letting go of Aiden.  Again this book was so heartbreaking but so good on the same note!! I really loved this book!!!
