Everyone you knew was dead.

The world is full of wreckage.

You are alone. Completely alone.

You are sent away to die.

But..

You survive!

Gods of Anthem is Logan Keys break out novel and what an impression this book has made!! I have to admit that I usually do not read the dystopian genre; however, I was drawn to this book so I agreed to review pre-publication. This story takes place in area known as Anthem where people are living in a world that is full of despair, ruin, wreckage, illness. Everyone is trying to survive in a world that is doing everything it can to wipe them out. Then add in an island that sick people are forced to live on, zombies, returning from death, and a man who is a machine...yeah you have a perfect mixture for chaos.

Although this story is Liza's story it is told from a dual POV between Liza and Tommy. Having dual POV allows a unique look at situations and makes the story richer.

While reading Gods of Anthem I found myself thinking "omg" "no way" and a Myriad of other explanatives. This story captivated me from the beginning to the end -- there were no lul's -- just the need to keep turning the pages faster and faster! If you enjoy Dystopian stories then you really cannot go wrong with Gods of Anthem.

I cannot wait for the story to continue -- and I think this story has potential to thrive as The Hunger Games Series did -- so if you liked The Hunger Games you really must read Gods of Anthem!
