In any relationship, there has never been two alphas who could ‘play’ nice with each other; it’s
always been one alpha and one omega or submissive. Why? Because an alpha does not
tolerate being challenged, and yet, Kym Grosso has managed to create two individuals whose
chemistry is so strong that they can’t keep their hands off each other, and this author manages
to write her novel in a very unique way. There are so many aspects that I loved about this novel
that I’m not sure if I have enough space in this review to name them all – the most prominent
being that I have never read a paranormal where an alpha was losing their shifter power and
could no longer be considered as an alpha, which was happening to Katrina. Another aspect
that I enjoyed was the mating – many books will specify that mating is chosen by their shifter
side or by the fates, and in this novel, mating is chosen by the female or the male. This novel
stood out for me; it had different aspects I hadn’t seen before, the chemistry was sizzling, and
the storyline one I have never read in the past. For sure I will be adding Kym Grosso to my
library and her novels on my to be read list.
