5 String Flower Gardens

This is the first book of the new spin off series Love In Bloom: The Ryders. This is the first book that I have read from this author. It seems that the book are all connected, but can be read as stand alone books. There is an even flow to this book going back and forth from the POV of the main characters, Lizzie and Blue. We are reintroduced to characters from other books, I am guessing to bring the different series all together. This does not confuse the reader to distract from the story at all.

Blue and Lizzie met a year ago at a quadruple wedding in the book Seaside Summers. Blue has been interested in Lizzie since they met, but Lizzie’s life is complicated. Lizzie has been able to keep Blue at the just friends stage, but when the oven that she uses on her Naked Baker webcast goes on the fritz, Lizzie turns to Blue to fix it. Blue is already working on remodeling Lizzie’s main kitchen so he is the logical choice to fix the oven in her cooking studio basement. Well Blue gets more the the old oven to heat up. Although Lizzie knows she should keep her distance, she accepts Blue’s not a date date to a bonfire with mutual friends. If Lizzie thought her life was complicated before, well things have gotten a whole lot more complicated.

This is definitely a fun story. It contains romance, sexy situations. There are some interesting lists of places to lick as well and places to have sex. There is humor, and fun, but there is also the secret that Lizzie is hiding that will make both Lizzie and Blue question their relationship.
