Blurb
Pretty things aren't meant to be broken.
But I broke her, and now we both have to pay the price.
I'm her nightmare.
I'm her savior.
And now that I have her signature on an ironclad contract, I own her body and soul.
She doesn't remember me.
She will.
It's inevitable.
Because as much as I know I need to stay away, for fear of unlocking the memories I helped her father bury--I can't.
She was the apple in the Garden, dangled in front of me, her core so tempting and sweet. A voice whispered. Just. One. Bite.
I bit.
I tasted.
I fell.
Welcome to the world of the Russian mafia, where death, is your only future.

"All our lives we’re told that ugly, deformed, is bad—but it’s a lie. Sometimes the most terrifying things you will ever encounter are also the most beautiful."

I think my admiration for RVD has just grown to epic proportions! I FLove the mafioso's from the Eagle Elite Series and Nikolai just fits right in with the guys!

You will only understand your misfortune when you fall in love—Russian Proverb

Never have truer words been spoken, and never has fate snickered at someone like it does to Nikolai and Maya in this story! Rachel has written a wickedly dark, twisted, tale that will leave you begging for more! I read this book from beginning to end - nonstop, just couldn't put it down! While this book can be called a romance, it is on the darker end of the genre and so full of twists you will need to hang on tight & pay attention because Rachel brought the crazy train to downtown Seattle in this story! This is a 5+ star book and it has left me with a serious need for more stories from our favorite families... Can't wait to see what's next!!!
